Long Key is best known for the 965-acre Long Key State Park, a favorite spot for camping, hiking, kayaking and snorkeling. The very small city of Layton is located on Long Key, as well. Long Key is noted for being very quiet and pristine with many waterfront condominiums and single-family homes available. There are a few conveniences on the Key and happily, it’s only a short drive to everything Marathon has to offer.
